Head of Sixth Form, Alaina Wood, said: “I am exceptionally pleased with the results of our Year 13 students.
Alaina added: “After a difficult two years, they have shown such resilience and determination to overcome the multitude of unprecedented barriers that covid-19 presented.
“It has been an absolute pleasure working with this wonderful year group and today has been a day of celebration.
“We are thrilled that so many of our students have been placed at their first-choice university and degree apprenticeships.
“Those students who are now exploring their options through clearing have done so with a fantastically mature and measured approach.”
Tejomayee Ganesh
Tejomayee achieved all grade 9s at GCSE at Bluecoat Aspley Academy and came to Bluecoat Sixth Form to study Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology. Her high-flying success continued as she today found out she’d achieved A*, A*, A*, A* and has got her place at Cambridge University to study Natural Sciences.
Justin Richards
Justin has also got a place at Cambridge University. Justin achieved A*, A*, A* in Economics, Sociology and Business and will be studying Law.
Shakib Uddin
Shakib achieved A*, A*, A* in Economics, Sociology, and Business. He has got into his first-choice university to study Information Management for Business but is currently exploring other options as his results were better than he expected!
Rebecca Uwadiae
Rebecca achieved A, A, A in Sociology, Chemistry and Biology and will be going to the University of Birmingham to study Medicine.
