Nottinghamshire Police can confirm that a body has been recovered from the River Trent in Nottingham.
A scene remains at the Victoria Embankment, where the discovery was made around 11.30 am today (22 June).
Officers are in the early stages of their investigations into the incident, and no formal identification has yet taken place.
These inquiries to establish what happened will continue over the coming days, and we’d ask that anyone with any information that could assist the investigation contacts the police.
