A body recovered from the River Trent near Radcliffe-on-Trent on Monday (22 February 2021) has been formally identified as being that of missing man Michael Onuorah.
Mr Onuorah, 52, was reported missing from the St Ann’s area of Nottingham on 11 January 2021.
The circumstances surrounding his death are still being investigated, but it is not currently being treated as suspicious.
Detective Inspector Danny Johnstone, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Our thoughts are with Michael’s family during this incredibly difficult time.
“I would like to thank everyone who called in sightings and shared our appeals to help find him. A file will be prepared for the coroner.”
