The English Novel: From Dickens to Lawrence was written by Raymond Williams in 1970.
The book was borrowed from Nottinghamshire libraries in 1982 with a return date stamped as 5 August 1982 almost 40 years ago.
The original library insert glued into the inner cover suggests that the book was originally available at West Bridgford Library.
