A juvenile male was apprehended and arrested on suspicion of possessing an 18 inch machete and remanded in custody pending further enquiries.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said:
A male has been arrested for possession of an 18 inch machete at Nottingham Station, after a positive stop and search.
‘Member of public stopped officers on foot patrol, to tell them about a juvenile with a large blade.
