Operation Reacher patrols in Nottingham city centre arrested a 15-year-old boy.
Police said:
‘Officers from the City Centre Op Reacher team arrested a 15-year-old boy during the early hours of the 18 April 2022 in Nottingham City Centre after receiving information that he was involved in a theft earlier in the evening.
‘As officers arrested the male, they located a loaded imitation firearm in the waistband of his trousers.
‘The male was arrested on suspicion of theft and possession of an imitation firearm in a public place and has been and bailed with conditions preventing him from returning to Nottingham until he attends court in relation to the incident.’
