Owners of the popular Yumacha restaurant in Central Avenue, West Bridgford have revealed details about their second venture to open on 13th August on Gordon Road.
The concept, in keeping with brand and sister restaurant Yumacha, is to create a relaxed drinking and dining experience to suit all tastes.
Casual during the day, where you are welcome to try the coffee and cake offer as well as traditional Japanese Bento boxes, to a little more refined dining in the evening with a gorgeous cocktail.
King Tang, co-owner of the restaurants said:
‘The aim at Yumuchi is to serve you some expertly crafted Japanese cuisine in keeping with tradition and some of our modern creations.
‘Our menu, designed by Head Chef Jesse Chung is based around the healthy eating so important to the Japanese and for sharing.
‘From imaginative salads, and sushi to the steaks on the non-fat cooking of the Ishiyaki.
‘We also offer some of the favourite street foods Japan has to offer in the form of tapas, Yakitori skewers, Gyoza dumplings, crispy tempura dishes, noodles and a wide selection of vegetarian and gluten free option.
The bar at Yumuchi focuses on contemporary Japanese cocktails with a fun twist, as well as a collection of Sakes, Japanese Whisky and Japanese Gins.
An award-winning bar team led by General Manager Joe Macbeth (2019 Midlands Manager of the Year nominee, 2017 Licor 43 Global Runner Up, 2016 Opihr Global Winner) and Tom Payne (UK 2019 World Class Bartender of the Year Top 20) and Alex Heppel (formerly of The Pillar Box, Last Chance Saloon, Brass Monkey & Harts) have devised an exciting selection of drinks that should get the tongues wagging and satisfy any thirsty sushi filled mouths.
The business is running a Facebook offer to anyone who follows Yumuchi and Yumacha a chance to be invited to the launch parties.
