Nottinghamshire organisations and community groups are now able to hire rooms at the Registration Office at Bridgford Hall in West Bridgford.
A £2.3m renovation of the building was completed last February and the rooms have been restored to their former Georgian glory and retain their original features
The Drawing Room and the Garden Room are available for hire for training events or meetings at the County Council-run office.
Councillor Gordon Wheeler, Vice-Chairman of the County Council’s Communities and Place Committee, said: “Bridgford Hall is a popular venue for weddings and other Registration ceremonies as it boasts large rooms with historic features.
“As with any facility, there are quiet times where we are also able to offer the ceremony rooms for community hire, which will be of interest to local groups and organisations looking for a central West Bridgford location for events and meetings.”
The Garden Room has two grand chandeliers giving it a period feel and windows overlooking different aspects of Bridgford Park. The Drawing Room also has park views and has a traditional library feel with an impressive fireplace.
