The work is being carried out by Cadent Gas.
Bridgford Road in West Bridgford at its junction with Park Avenue will be controlled by
temporary traffic signals all week.
Cadent Gas is working to locate and repair a gas leak in the area.
The signals are in operation for 24 hours.
