The open day will see Health Advisers offering free blood pressure checks and giving lifestyle advice on exercise, nutrition, smoking, sleep and stress. The Senior Physiotherapist will also be available for drop-in sessions, giving posture and bone; muscle and joint assessments.

If you have a niggling concern about an old injury or want some advice before taking up a new sport then head down on the day. This is a free event for the local businesses and community and no appointment or insurance is needed to attend.

Victoria Evans, Centre Manager said: “We’ve been working with the local community for over ten years and know that these open days are really popular. It’s a great chance for people to come and get an introduction to the services we offer, while getting a health check for free! We’re committed to making people happier and healthier in our local community, and most of all, giving people the help to look after themselves.”

Based on Millennium Way West at the Phoenix Centre in Nottingham, the Bupa Health Centre offers a wide range of everyday health services, from routine GP and physiotherapy appointments to full health assessments. Private medical insurance isn’t required, with services available for all.

The Centre also offers vaccinations and a breast screening service.
