Burglar targeted home while victims slept – image released

Police are appealing for information after a burglar targeted a house in Radford while the occupiers was asleep upstairs.

An intruder entered the property on Denman Street West at around 1.55am on Saturday 8 March.

He then entered a woman’s bedroom and fled the terraced property after startling the victim.

The police were called and enquiries found a hairdryer had been stolen during the incident.

Officers are appealing for help from the public in identifying the man in these images, as it is believed he will be able to assist the investigation.

Detective Sergeant Frank Guddemi, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“This was a terrifying ordeal for the woman, as well as another woman sleeping in another bedroom who was also woken during the incident.

“Both occupants were thankfully physically unharmed, but were understandably left very shaken by what happened.

“It is vital we trace the burglar and are appealing for the public’s help. We believe the man in these images will be able to assist our investigation and I would urge anyone who recognises him to come forward as soon as possible.”
