A burglar who targeted homes in Toton, Strelley and Wilford has been jailed for three years and ten months.
Zachary Smith, 33, of Halifax Court, Nottingham, pleaded guilty to the burglaries which took place during January 2019.
Smith pleaded guilty to three counts of burglary, one count of aggravated taking a vehicle without consent, two counts of attempted robbery and one count of possession of cannabis when he appeared at Lincoln Crown Court on Thursday 26 July 2019.
Detectives identified Smith from CCTV of the incidents and found that he had some of the stolen items on him when he was arrested.
Speaking after Smith’s sentencing, detective Constable Julian Eminson-Ferry, who led the investigation said: “Burglary is an invasive crime which can be very upsetting for its victims.
“Bringing offenders to justice is a priority for Nottinghamshire Police, and we will continue to investigate these crimes thoroughly.”
