Police pursued and arrested two suspects who were spotted climbing over garden fences after a break-in at a factory.

Officers were called to Sneinton Dale, Sneinton, at around 2.30am today (27 June) following reports two men were breaking into the industrial premises.

After a search of the area, officers spotted two suspects in back gardens at nearby Durham Avenue and chased them on foot.

One was detained in Durham Avenue six minutes after the initial call and was also found to have a knife in his pocket.

The other was found on a nearby rooftop a short time later.
