Bus passengers across Nottingham and parts of Nottinghamshire are being advised to check before they travel next week, with a series of road closures and roadworks affecting several services.
Nottingham City Transport has listed disruption on a number of routes from early July, including closures affecting services through Gamston, Trent Boulevard, Arnold Lane, Middleton Boulevard and parts of the city hospital area.
Routes 71 and 79 continue to be affected by the closure of Nuthall Road, which has been in place from 2 July onwards. Route 30 is also affected by roadworks on Bramcote Lane and Wollaton Road, also from 2 July onwards.
On Monday 6 July, service 6 will be affected by the closure of Beckside in Gamston.
The closure of Trent Boulevard is also scheduled from 6 July until 15 August, although the start date may move to 13 July. The closure affects route 11/C.
Overnight closures on Arnold Lane are due to take place from 6 July to 16 July, affecting routes 44 and 60.
Middleton Boulevard will be closed from 8 July to 11 July, with route 53 affected.
Further disruption is expected from 9 July to 14 July because of the closure of Wheatcroft Island and Gamston Island, affecting route 12/C.
Looking further ahead, roadworks at Lowdham Roundabout are due to begin from 3 August and are expected to last for around 13 months. Route 26 will be affected.
At City Hospital, the closure of Linden Way remains in place until further notice, affecting route 40A.
Passengers are advised to check the latest route information before travelling, as diversion routes and stop arrangements may change while the works are under way.
