Cllr Jonathan Wheeler for West Bridgford South told the Wire: ‘The fact these two important roads are being resurfaced is fantastic for the tens of thousands of people who use them on a regular basis.
‘As a result, NCT has a revised route during the works, and diversions are in place for road users. Residents can of course still access their properties while works are being done.
‘I have pushed for these roads to be done and am delighted they are part of the £1 million invested in resurfacing and road safety schemes in my Division alone during this term.’
