Cannabis and machete discovered after Cotgrave incident


A man has been arrested after officers responded to a report of an affray involving a group of men in Orchard Close, Cotgrave, at around 1.30pm on Friday.

As part of the investigation, officers searched a house in Orchard Close and recovered a number of cannabis plants and a machete.

An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray, possession of an offensive weapon, being concerned in the cultivation of cannabis, driving while banned and driving without insurance. He has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
