The incident was reported in Moorbridge Lane, Stapleford on 10 February.
Nottinghamshire Police and Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service attended.
Police were called at 9:45 pm – they said that it was a single-vehicle incident.
There are no reported injuries but the driver was taken to hospital.
Emergency services closed the road for most of the day to deal with the wreckage and road surface damage.
