Officers are appealing for drivers with dash cam footage after a man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving in Worksop a week ago.
A white Ford Fiesta was reported to have gone through a number of red traffic lights in the town before going round the roundabout at the end of Claylands Avenue.
The driver then proceeded to travel onto the A57 on the wrong side before crashing off the road.
It happened at around 2.05pm on Saturday 11 July.
A 28-year-old man was arrested at the scene. Enquiries are ongoing.
