Radcliffe Olympics Under-10 Red team have secured a shirt-sponsorship deal with a local residential care home, Radcliffe Manor House.
The team are shown celebrating their new shirts outside the home with some of the residents.
Mel Barron, the Registered Manager, said:
“We are pleased to encourage these youngsters and their obvious enthusiasm lit up the day for our residents, especially one lady whose great-grandson is among those pictured.
“When the weather improves, we’ll look forward to them demonstrating their skills in a training session on our lawns.”
Dom Baker, the Radcliffe Olympic Intermediate Section Vice Chair said:
”Radcliffe Olympic is a community club and we’re delighted that our young players are part of a scheme to bring different generations in our village together.
“We are really grateful to Manor House for their generous sponsorship and the boys are looking forward to showing the residents their skills soon.”
