The case was reported at Grosvenor House Day Nursery on Melton Road.
In a letter to parents and carers of children who had been in contact with the confirmed child sent on 1 October the nursery said:
‘As you are aware, today we received confirmation of a confirmed case of COVID at nursery within our baby room.’
Parents and carers were advised that their child had to self-isloate until 13 October.
The nursery sent parents guidance from Department for Education on the necessary steps.
