Officers made two arrests and recovered drugs during a proactive warrant.

Two men, aged 18 and 20, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to important class B drugs following the discovery by city south. Operation Reacher officers on Thursday (3 February 2022). They have since been bailed with conditions.
Detective Sergeant Nick Wood, from Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Thanks to the proactive work by officers, a quantity of drugs and cash are now off the street, which is a real positive for the community.
“We understand how this activity can negatively impact communities and as such when we discover drugs, cash and related goods we will always thoroughly investigate.
“As part of this discovery, and subsequent intelligence, we have launched a drugs importation investigation which we are working closely with other officers and partners to conduct.
“Two men were arrested following the warrant conducted on Wednesday and enquiries into the find are ongoing.
Sergeant Tim Register, who leads the city south Operation Reacher team, said: “This was a really successful warrant and we are glad that a quantity of drugs and related items were safely seized.
“This action is thanks to community and wider intelligence. City south locals have told us they want to see us take action on drugs – it is a priority for us – and so we hope this action gives our community confidence to report this kind of information to us.
