Castle Rock Brewery to see its beers on tap at the city’s new Around the World Bar

As part Nottingham’s new Bierkeller complex, Nottingham’s very own Castle Rock Brewery will be represented, with several home-grown tipples available on tap for those wanting to experience the world in a glass!

On the entry level of Nottingham’s new Bierkeller Entertainment Complex (BEC) on Friar Lane, officially opening to the public on the 17th March, the Around The World bar will celebrate a broad spectrum of beers and cocktails from across the globe – stocking over 100 beers and ciders from more than 33 different countries, as well as a vast range of wines and cocktails.

Created for a varied cultural experience, the Around The World bar promotes different countries through their shared passion for great drinks. For those looking to excite the mixologist within, or wanting to shake things up, Around The World’s many creative cocktails will be worth a try. From a ‘Classic Cosmopolitan’ to a unique ‘Elephants Mud Bath’, there will be a drink to suit every taste.

Beers will range from German staples such as Erdinger and Hoegaarden, to global lagers, ales, stouts and exclusive to Nottingham’s BEC, Nottingham-brewed Castle Rock beers – offering a flavour of Nottingham on any worldwide beer tour. So whether it is wine or stein that tickles the tastebuds, there will be a great experience with every trip to the bar.

If customers work up an appetite whilst on their drinking travels, there will be the chance to tuck into a continental food offering – from classic Italian-style pizzas, to New York burgers and of course, something for a sweet tooth.

Sean Cullen, General Manager at Bierkeller Entertainment Complex Nottingham, is eagerly anticipating the opening of Nottingham’s new bar and is excited by the prospect of having Castle Rock’s beers on tap in its home city – “Few places in Nottingham offer the wide range of drinks that Around The World does within a single venue, so we are really excited to now be able to stock Castle Rock beers alongside our worldwide offering so that visitors can get a flavour of Nottingham on a night in our venue”.
