Detectives investigating a serious assault which left the victim needing hospital treatment have released images of a man they would like to speak to.
Officers were called to Mansfield Road, Sherwood, Nottingham, after reports a man had been attacked.
The victim required hospital treatment after the incident, which took place at around 1 am on 17 June 2022.
Two suspects have been identified by officers but one has yet to be traced.
He was seen to get out of a Vauxhall Corsa with two women and go into the Nisa shop and post office, on Mansfield Road.
Detective Constable Toni Smithurst, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a nasty attack which left the victim with serious injuries and needing time in hospital.
“Having carried out CCTV enquiries across the area we would now like to speak with the man pictured in this image as we believe he may have vital information which could help our investigation.
“Our enquiries into what happened are ongoing so I would ask anyone who believes they know who the person in the photo is to please get in touch.”
