CCTV appeal after Nottingham city assault leaves victim deaf in one ear

The victim was attacked in Lower Parliament Street in Nottingham at around 3am on 27 July 2021.

Police have today released images to trace a suspect who punched a man while he was queueing for a taxi after a night out – causing him to suffer a bleed on the brain.

The victim, who is aged in his 20s, was hit in the face causing him to fall to the floor.

He is also now deaf in one ear and suffers from vertigo as a result of the assault.

Investigations have been on going, and now Nottinghamshire Police has released an images of a man and woman who may be able to help identify the suspect.

Detective Sergeant Louise Bradford, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing into this nasty attack and we’re working hard to identify the offender responsible.

“We are keen to identify and speak to the man and woman in these CCTV images as we believe they may have vital information about what happened which could assist us with our investigation.”

The victim was attacked in Lower Parliament Street in Nottingham at around 3am on 27 July 2021.
