CCTV image shared after street fight in Nottingham city centre

Police have issued CCTV images of two men they would like to speak to in connection with a street fight.

Officers were called to an altercation involving two groups of people in Thurland Street, Nottingham city centre.

Punches were thrown at members of one of the groups, with the victims suffering injuries to the head and body.

Police attended and arrested four suspects on suspicion of affray and assault occasioning actual bodily harm following the violence which broke out around 1.30 am on Wednesday 20 December 2023.

However, some men believed to have been involved in the incident fled before officers arrived at the scene.

PC Morgan Stoddart, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Our work is ongoing to trace these individuals and we have now released images of two men we want to identify as we believe they may have information that could help us with our inquiries. 

“If you know who they are, or have any other information which could assist us, then please get in touch.”
