Two men were reportedly knocked to the ground and a necklace was ripped from one of their necks in a street robbery.

A man is then alleged to have knocked one of the reported victims unconscious with a punch from behind and ripped the necklace from his neck, whilst another was also punched to the ground.

Whilst they were down, its believed the victims were also stamped on multiple times.

They were approached whilst they were waiting outside one of the outlets in Angel Row in the city centre at around 2am on Sunday 25 July 2021.

Officers have now released images of five men they want to speak to about the incident.

Inspector Paul Ferguson of Nottinghamshire Police said: “We’re very keen to speak to these men as we believe they will be able to help us with our enquiries and understand the circumstances around what has been reported.

“This reported behaviour has left the victims shaken and injured and we are determined to understand the circumstances around what happened. Wherever we receive such reports we will be dedicated to our investigation and will look at all possible lines of enquiry.

“We would urge anyone who recognises these men, or anyone with information, to get in touch on 101, quoting incident 745 of 25 July 2021
