CCTV images released by police following bank card theft

Officers investigating the theft of a bank card have released CCTV images of two men they would like to speak with.

Reports came in that a wallet containing the victim’s bank card was taken after he used it at a bank in Low Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield.

The card was first fraudulently used at that same address, with £700 withdrawn on 30 March.

A further £750 was then withdrawn at another bank in Main Street, Bulwell, on the same day.

Investigating officers have now released an image of two people they’d like to speak to in connection with these incidents.

Sergeant Elizabeth Johnson, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“We are working hard to trace those responsible for these offences and are determined to bring them to justice.

“Luckily in this case, the victim has since been reimbursed by his bank.

“But, let me be clear that we have zero tolerance for this type of criminality in Nottinghamshire.

“To this end, we’re urging anyone who recognises these two individuals to please come forward and get in touch with us.”

Anyone who recognises the two people pictured or who has any other information is urged to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 434 of 30 March 2026, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
