Police have issued an image of a man they would like to trace after a man was repeatedly assaulted in Nottingham city centre.
A man in his 20s was punched several times in Carlton Street, Hockley, at approximately 11.50 pm on 9 May.
The victim eventually managed to flee but was attacked again in the same area around 15 minutes later, leaving him with concussion and a bloodied nose.
Officers believe the man in this image will be able to assist with their inquiries and are urging anyone who recognises him to come forward.

PC Temeesha Hobbs, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“This was a nasty and sustained assault that could have resulted in the victim sustaining serious injuries.
“We believe the man in this image has vital information and would encourage him, or anyone who recognises him, to make contact with us.”
Anyone who can assist is asked to call 101, quoting reference 26*273433.
