Buses have started to divert as preparations for tomorrow’s West Bridgford Christmas Lights Switch-On get underway.
Nottingham City Transport said:
‘To facilitate the annual Christmas event on Central Avenue, West Bridgford, Green 5-9 will divert via Bridgford Road in both directions from 3pm on Friday 17th Nov until 9pm Saturday 18th November.
‘Temporary stops will be sited near the old Police Station as an alternative.’
Trent Barton said:
‘Central Avenue in West Bridgford will be closed from 5.00pm Friday 17 November to 8.00pm Saturday 18 November for the West Bridgford Christmas Light switch on and market.
Our mainline, cotgrave, and rushcliffe villager services will divert missing the stops on Central Avenue.
Customers are advised to use the Co-op stop or the one at Tudor Square.’
