Chat to GPs and experts on the future of healthcare in West Bridgford

Residents registered with West Bridgford GP practices are invited to learn more about the future of healthcare in the area in a dedicated event on the changes and exciting advances already underway to local health and wellbeing services.

 

‘The Future of Healthcare in West Bridgford’ takes place on Wednesday April 27 at 6pm at Rushcliffe Arena with residents able to book their free place at Eventbrite here and get their questions answered.

They can hear and chat more with local GPs and other health and care experts, meet local voluntary sector groups, Rushcliffe Borough Council and fellow residents to hear more on the shared vision for the future of health in the town.

The event aims to enhance knowledge of health, wellbeing and resilience for individuals and local services and focus on how patients and residents are equal partners to the service provided by the NHS.

It will also outline how the services will be delivered in a sustainable way aligned to environmental commitments.

The evening is set to feature:

  • 6pm registration/refreshments
  • 6.30pm Welcome Paul Midgley Chair of West Bridgford Patient Participation Groups 
  • 6.35pm Overview of health and care changes in Rushcliffe

  • 8.10pm Market Place discussions at stalls/stands Talk to a selection of local health and care providers to discuss their part in the integration of health, care and wellbeing and what services they offer

The event has been organised by the Patient Participation Groups linked to GP practices in West Bridgford.

 

The meeting venue of Rushcliffe Arena is located at NG2 7YG off Rugby Road in West Bridgford.
