Christingle event on the Croquet Lawn in West Bridgford

Christmas is coming and at St Giles church they are really looking forward to celebrating with our local community.

The church said:

‘As well as our very popular Carol service, our pop up nativity, traditional Midnight Mass and Christmas Day service, this year we are running two FREE events for families.

‘On Saturday 3rd December, from 9-1pm,join us on the croquet lawn ( Central Avenue) where the kids can have fun making a Christingle.

‘A Christingle, from a word of German origin, Christkindl, means Little Christ Child. This lighted candle is used during Advent to celebrate Jesus Christ as the light of the world.
