A head-on collision between two buses has closed a city centre road.
Update 8:11 pm Canal Street has reopened following the earlier RTC. Navy, Green, Orange and Turquoise Line buses are back to normal route with some delays.
The collision involves a Trent Barton bus and a Nottingham City Transport bus.
There is severe disruption to Navy 1, 3, 4, 48, 49; Green 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11; Orange 34/C, Red 50 and Turquoise 77, 78, 79 because of an RTC on Canal Street.
NCT cannot serve part of Canal Street (where the bus stops are) or stops at the Station away from the City.
Please use the following alternative stops on route:
Navy 1, 3, 4 towards Clifton: Maid Marian Way or Meadows Way
Navy 48 or 49 towards Queens Drive: Maid Marian Way
Green 5-11 towards Trent Bridge: Maid Marian Way
Orange 34/C to University Park: Angel Row only
Red 50 to Victoria Retail Park: Maid Marian Way
Turquoise 77, 78, 79: Beastmarket Hill in the Old Market Square only. (Stops on Fletcher Gate, George Street, Victoria Centre, Upper Parliament Street and Maid Marian Way cannot be served).
