A permitted development application for a change of use to residential for Bridgford House (former Rushcliffe Borough Council Civic Centre) on Pavilion Road has been approved, or more accurately has been passed as ‘not requiring prior approval.’

Upper floors are already apartments. The application relates to the floors from part of the ground floor and levels 2-8 – increasing the dwellings by 65.

Developers Monk Estates based in The Ropewalk Nottingham applied for the change.

The building was used by the council up until December 2016 when the administration staff were moved to Rushcliffe Arena, just before the new sports facility opened in January 2017.
