Following the success of their Community Art Exhibition, West Bridgford Junior School are delighted to announce the launch of their first ever Community Food Festival.
The event is to be held at their Cottages site (Tudor Road) on 21st May 2022 from 10:30 to 14:30.
This is part of the work of the Community Hub, which was formed earlier this year to promote wider engagement with the local school community.
Beth Arnold, who is Assistant Head Teacher and also leads the Community Hub spoke to the Wire about the upcoming Food Festival:
“We really wanted an event to celebrate the cultural diversity of our pupils and staff, which could also engage the wider community, and food provides the perfect platform for this.
“We are hoping for a range of different cuisines which highlight the breadth of cultural richness within our school community, alongside some fun food related activities for children and families.
“Please do save the date and come along to join us if you can!”
