A controlled explosion has been carried out in Worksop following the discovery of old ammunition and military ordnance.
Officers from Nottinghamshire Police were called just after 5.30pm yesterday (16 October) after the discovery was spotted by a member of the public near Windmill Lane.
A specialist bomb disposal unit attended and a controlled explosion was carried out just after 10.30am this morning.
No evacuations were required.
