Mobile testing units (MTUs) are located across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire at temporary locations to help increase access to coronavirus testing.
If you have symptoms of coronavirus including a high temperature, a new continuous cough or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste, you should get tested as soon as possible.
Providing there is local availability, you can book in for a test at a mobile testing site, a drive-in or walk through site or for a home testing kit by calling 119 or via the online government portal.
Over the next two weeks, sites can be found in the following areas:
Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th September – Bassetlaw
Wednesday 30th September, Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd October – East Leake (Rushcliffe )
Tuesday 29th September, Wednesday 30th and Thursday 1st October – Broxtowe
Friday 2nd, Saturday 3rd , Sunday 4th and Monday 5th October – Ashfield
Saturday 3rd, Sunday 4th and Monday 5th October – Gedling
Tuesday 6th, Wednesday 7th, Thursday 8th, Friday 9th and Saturday 10th October – Nottingham
Tuesday 6th, Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th October – Hucknall
Friday 9th, Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th October – Arnold
You must book in for a test prior to attending a mobile testing unit. You will be informed of the exact location for your test once you have gone through the booking process.
Locations are drive-through only so you either need to drive or be driven to a site.
The test involves taking a swab of the nose and the back of the throat, which can be done by yourself or by a tester. You will receive your test result via text or email within 72 hours. If your test is positive, you must self-isolate immediately. For more information on receiving your result, visit the NHS website.
Tests are also being carried out at a fixed testing drive-through site at the Motorpoint Arena car park behind the BBC building in Nottingham.
Do not turn up for a test without booking first. You can do this by either ringing 119 or booking via the NHS website.
*Details of locations of MTUs across the county will be regularly updated.
