A new walk-through local testing site has now been confirmed in Nottingham to increase access to coronavirus testing.
The testing site can be found at Forest Park and Ride in Nottingham City from Friday 23 October.
If you have symptoms of coronavirus which are any of: a high temperature, a new continuous cough or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste, you should get tested.
You must book in for a test prior to attending any testing site. You can do this by calling 119 or visiting the online government portal (gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test).
The test involves taking a swab of the nose and the back of the throat. You will receive your test result via text or email within 72 hours. If your test is positive, you must self-isolate immediately.

The local testing site is walk-through only so you will be required to walk or cycle there. Please do not use any public transport to go to and from your appointment. This is to protect others and stop the spread of coronavirus.
In addition to the local testing site, there is a fixed testing drive-through site located at County Hall car park on Loughborough Road in West Bridgford. This was previously based at the Motorpoint Arena car park behind the BBC building in Nottingham.
Mobile testing units (MTUs) are also located across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. MTUs are based at temporary locations and are kept updated on the CCG website. Locations are subject to change in response to local outbreaks and accurate at the time of publishing.
