An expanding Cotgrave business has been able to grow and stay in the town thanks to a move to larger premises at the Rushcliffe Borough Council owned Colliers Business Park.
The Gourmet Chocolate Pizza Company relocated just a matter of yards in January from their previous Manvers Business Park base nearby with the authority able to accommodate their growth and offer larger office and warehouse space.
Founder of the business Helen Ellis said: “We are delighted with the new unit and that we could relocate the business just a matter of yards and remain in Rushcliffe.
“The facilities and space here are an improvement for us and have allowed us to increase our production capabilities which will undoubtably help our business grow further.
“The extra office and warehouse space now available has also meant we have been able to take on more staff to support our expansion.
“We are pleased with the support we have received from Rushcliffe Borough Council in our move and are very thankful to their teams for the assistance they have provided.”
The Council’s Deputy Leader and Portfolio Holder for Business and Growth Cllr Andy Edyvean added: “It’s heartening to see another Rushcliffe business grow in size and that we have been well positioned to offer them alternative premises in line with their growth.
“Businesses such as this are the heartbeat of our economy and we’re pleased if our support can boost more jobs and investment in the Borough, especially as we continue to recover from the impact of the pandemic.”
