Rushcliffe Borough Council trains other teams to support household waste collections.
Members of Rushcliffe Borough Council’s elections and facilities teams are now being trained to collect bins and support its waste services on the frontline showing great flexibility in its workforce to help one another.
Staff arrived early at its London Road depot on Friday keen to help and adapt their skills to the ever changing situation of COVID-19 and all practising social distancing as part of the work.
