Cases in England
A confirmed case is someone who has tested positive for coronavirus.
Between 11 December 2022 and 17 December 2022, 36,963 people had a confirmed positive test result. This shows an increase of 28.8% compared to the previous 7 days.
Vaccinations in England
Vaccines are given in several doses.
45,374,671 people had been given a first dose by the end of 18 December 2022.
42,878,848 people had been given a second dose by the end of 18 December 2022.
33,854,240 people had been given a booster or third dose by the end of 18 December 2022.
Healthcare in England
