Covid: Nottingham city cases down 50% in a week and lower than England average

A virtual Covid media briefing with Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Public Health Directors held today 9 April at 11 am.

David Johns Consultant in Public Health for Nottingham City said today:

Cases in Nottingham city are half what they were seven days ago, we’ve recorded 100 cases in the last seven days, 50% down – and we’re pleased to say that our figures are now lower than the England average.’

Nottinghamshire figures are slightly higher than the England average but decreasing too.
