This week has seen the vaccination programme continues to make progress, reports Nottingham and Nottinghamshire CCG.
Vaccinations
735,189 vaccinations have been administered in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire with 51,215 delivered in the last week.
In total, 213,613 second doses have now been administered.
This week, the UK hit another milestone after administering 50 million vaccines to the public.
This work could not be achieved without fantastic work of NHS, volunteers and partners. The NHS is delivering, on average, 10 million vaccines each month and more than nine out of ten people aged 45 and over in the UK have received their first jab.
The NHS is urging anyone who qualifies for a jab, but has not yet received one, to book an appointment. Those who are currently eligible include over 40s, frontline health and social care workers as well as those who are clinically vulnerable and carers. You can book an appointment by calling 119 or visiting the National Booking Website.
