Over 500,000 people in Nottinghamshire have now received a first dose vaccination against the virus.
Speaking at a virtual public health director media briefing today, Amanda Sullivan Nottingham and Notts Integrated Care System Interim Executive Lead said:
‘I’m pleased to say we are making excellent progress – 547,585 vaccines have now been delivered – however we still urge over 50s and frontline health and care workers and vulnerable residents to come forward for their jab.’
53 people were admitted to hospitals in Nottinghamshire in the week to 4 April, and 100 people remain in hospital too.
