Covid Update: 13 deaths in Nottingham Hospitals in a week – see admissions and beds data

Also see data on vaccinations across the county.

This update from Nottingham and Nottinghamshire CCG shows both figures have seen increases in the last week.

 

  • Hospitals
    • We have seen 77 admissions relating to Covid-19 in the seven days to 5 September, which compares to 98 in the previous 7 day period
    • We had 198 beds occupied by Covid+ patients on 14 September, this compares to 190 on 7 September
    • Of those 198 beds, 14% (28 beds) were mechanically ventilated
    • In the week from 10 September – 15 September there were 13 deaths, which compares to 18 the previous week

    General Practice

    • July saw 492,711 GP appointments with 57% being face-to-face and 51% being the same day or next

    Vaccinations

    • Latest figures (8 December – 12 September) show in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire 13,524 vaccines have been administered in the last week. In total, 1,386,452 vaccinations have now been administered with 661,314 of these being second doses.
    • A breakdown of the figures, alongside ONS population estimates, show vaccines have been administered to 93.8% of people aged 80+, 100% of people aged 75-79, 97.9% of people aged 70-74, 93.5% of people aged 65-69,  99.3% of people aged 60-64, 97.3% of people aged 55-59, 92% of people aged 50-54, 85.2% of people aged 45-49 and 89.8% of people aged 40-44, 84.4% of people aged 35-39, 80.9% of people aged 30-34, 64.2% of people aged 25-29, 65.7% of people aged 18-24 and 7.1% of people under the age of 18.
    • Second doses have been administered to 92.3% of people aged 80+, 100% of people aged 75-79, 96.9% of people aged 70-74, 92.2% of people aged 65-69, 97% of people aged 60-64, 94.7% of people aged 55-59, 89.3% of people aged 50-54, 81.4% of people aged 45-49 and 83.9% of people aged 40-44, 76.5% of people aged 35-39, 70.7% of people aged 30-34, 53% of people aged 25-29, 50.5% of people aged 18-24 and 1.3% of people under the age of 18.
