Costock Christmas Trees opens for its last weekend this year.
‘We have just taken delivery of a larger tree netter, if you came to see us last weekend you may have seen them struggling to get some of the larger trees through one of our smaller netting machines. This should make light work of them now!!’
‘This weekend we are able to take card or cash payments.
‘We also have a choice of tree stands and Christmas tree foliage available, for wreath making, table decorations or any other craft projects you have in mind.’
Costock Christmas Trees have been planting Christmas trees each year for the last seven years – their high-quality trees are finally large enough and they are ready to open our doors to the public, selling homegrown Christmas trees, and the day has come for the public to go along and see.
Rachel Kirk, of Kirk Farms who operate the venture told The Wire:
‘We would like to invite the public to come to our beautiful farm in Costock to buy their Christmas tree this year.
On 25 and 26 November and 2 and 3 December we are going to be joined by Weavers Wines. You will be able to stock up on your Christmas wine or do a little Christmas shopping while buying your Christmas tree. There will also be opportunities to sample some winter tipples to really get that Christmas feeling.
