Cyclist robbed at knifepoint in Nottingham

Notts Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a cyclist was robbed at knifepoint in Aspley.

The 34-year-old victim was riding home along Rosslyn Drive when he saw a group of men.

One of them approached the cyclist and grabbed hold of his mountain bike. Another man then started pulling at his bike.

The cyclist told the men they weren’t having his bike before a third man pulled out a knife.

After the victim let go of his bike the men ran off with it along Welstead Avenue.

The cyclist wasn’t injured but was left shaken by the incident which happened at about 6.40pm on Wednesday 4 April 2018.

One of the robbers was Asian, aged 17-18, of slim to average build and about 5ft 10ins tall. He had black hair poking out the side of a khaki green cap and a light beard.

A second suspect is mixed race, aged 17-19, of slim build and about 5ft 8ins tall. He had dark brown dreadlocks and was clean shaven. He was wearing a greenish/blue hooded jacket.

A third offender is black, aged 17-19, of slim build and about 6ft tall. He has short black Afro-style hair and was clean shaven. He was wearing a black cap and black puffa jacket.
