‘Dangerous and inconsiderate’ parking at village primary school, say police

Police arrived at the school this week to monitor parking.

Reports had been made about parking outside Costock Primary School in Rushcliffe.

A spokesperson for Rushcliffe police said:

After complaints of dangerous and inconsiderate parking officers attended Costock to monitor the parking round drop off time at the primary school.

‘It was clear that due to us being present this morning the problem did not present itself, but our presence was well received by parents and the head teacher.

‘Local officers are aware this is an issue at most schools around drop off and collection time and when operational commitments allow we will endeavor to pay attention to this and other locations.’
