The incident was reported at around 7:45 am on Tuesday 6 September.
AA Roadwatch reports:
‘Partially blocked and queueing traffic due to recovery work and two vehicle crash on A52 Clifton Boulevard Northbound at A453 Clifton Lane (Silverdale Island).
‘Congestion to Wheatcroft Island. Travel time is around 20 minute.’

‘Recovery complete and vehicle involved leaving the scene. Lane reopened, emergency services have left the scene.
‘Delays remain in the area currently back to Wheatcrofts Island so please allow extra time.
