Detectives want to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened or has any footage of the incident.

Detective Sergeant Rob Palethorpe, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“Robberies of this nature can be a frightening experience for victims, particularly when weapons are involved and threats made.

“Thankfully the victim in this robbery was not injured, but we know that whenever a knife is involved there is the potential for an incident to escalate.

“We have been working hard on the investigation and this arrest is an important step. However, we still want to hear from anyone with any relevant information, or CCTV, doorbell, dashcam or mobile phone footage which could assist with our ongoing inquiries.”

Anyone with any information should call police on 101, quoting incident number 748 of 15 July 2024, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
