Derailed tram causing service disruption

NET say a tram derailment is causing issues on the network.

NET said:

”Service Update 07:46 – Due to a tram derailment, we have no service between Wilkinson Street and David Lane affecting all services.”

Due to a significant disruption, we have no service between Wilkinson Street and David Lane affecting all services.

We have shuttle trams traveling between Hucknall and David Lane for passengers to connect with the Yellow Line bus.

There is a shuttle tram traveling between Pheonix Park and Highbury Vale Branch for passengers to connect with the tram on Highbury Vale Mainline and onto the NCT Yellow line bus.• Bulwell-Bulwell Bus station-68, 69, 70, 71• Cinderhill-Cinderhill, Headstocks Pub-70, 71• Highbury Vale-Catchems Corner/Vernon Road-68, 69• David Lane-Basford Crossings/Vernon Road-68, 69• Basford-Nottingham Road/Vernon Road-68, 69• The Forest-The Forest Recreation Ground/Mansfield Road-68, 69, 70, 71• Royal Centre-The Victoria Shopping Centre/Mansfield Road-68, 69, 70, 71Customers travelling from Hucknall towards Toton Lane will need to alight the tram at Bulwell to get the bus from the Bulwell bus station towards the Nottingham City Centre.

Customers can then continue by tram from The Royal Centre. Alternatively, use the 70 or 71 from Bulwell Bus station to the Headstocks pub at Cinderhill. Customers that need to travel north beyond Wilkinson Street towards Bulwell or Hucknall are able to get the bus near to the Royal Centre Tram Stop at the Victoria Shopping Centre on Mansfield Road.

A bus stop is also located at the Forest on Mansfield road which is 0.7 miles from the Forest Tram Stop. Alight the Bus at Bulwell bus station to continue by Tram towards Hucknall. Alternatively, customers that need to reach Bulwell or Hucknall can use the Phoenix park line to reach Cinderhill. Alight the tram at Cinderhill and use the Yellow 70 or 71 from the Headstocks pub towards the Bulwell bus station. Alight at the bus station then continue by tram at Bulwell.
